Thank you for the Quote from Calvin above which made me think of the colors of the seas, particularly the western Caribbean.
One week ago, my sister-in-law and her husband took my wife and I on a 7 day cruise through the Gulf of Mexico and western Caribbean. In my e-mail thanking her, one of the highlights was:
“7. Looking at the incredible variety and beauty of the water from turquoise to dark blue to emerald green to light blue and all the colors in between.”
Indeed, the colors made us rejoice and give thanks to God for the beauty of His creation.

Here is a needed addition.
One certainly does not need to go to the western Caribbean to see God’s spectacular creation which makes us rejoice.
From our backyard, we can see the majesty of the sky that “shouts” to us with joy: “God created me!”. From our backyard, we can also see the wonder of that small blade of grass with so much beautiful colorful detail that also “shouts” to us with joy: “God created me!”. For those in Michigan now, they may even see in addition the complexity of even snowflakes in their backyard, each one different in their intricate pattern from the other, which snowflakes also “shouts” to us with joy: “God created me!”. All of which causes us to rejoice.
