From March 19 through May 14, the University of Geneva will present weekly lectures as below. Their “Portrait of the intellectual John Calvin” lectures are described as follows: Great minds are no one’s property and no one can claim to have an exclusive view of someone who was born in 1509 and to whom the University of Geneva owes its origin. For this reasons academics of very different trends present this “portrait of the intellectual John Calvin.” The series of lectures is addressed mainly to students of all faculties who in this jubilee year would like to get an overall view of the various facets of one of the founder figures of modern Geneva.
